29 Days of Self-Care DAY TWENTY-SEVEN: CRY IT OUT.
It's my party, and I'll cry if I want to!

Ever have one of those days where you are super sensitive and catch yourself blubbering at animal rescue videos? Or you're working out with your buddy and all of a sudden start ugly crying and lock yourself in the bathroom until you can get your shit on lock? (it can happen!)

Sometimes it sneaks up on us, or sometimes you sense it coming and fight against it for as long as you can... Until you can't.

STOP THAT SHIT RIGHT NOW. Why? Because if you don't, you'll end up SNAP CRACKLE POPPING off on a total stranger or worse, those who are closest to you.

We bottle up our emotions and push it to the wayside, ignorantly pretending that we aren't falling apart on the inside. Slowly but surely it starts to show in our body or face. Eye twitching. Snappy attitude. Stress eyes. When none of this is necessary.

We give ourselves too much of a hard time about just letting ourselves crying it out. Whats so wrong about crying (gents, this is aimed at you also!)? NOTHING. In fact, you should make it a regular part of your physical health routine, just like regularly hitting the gym. Mondays shall now officially be the CryItOutWhileBeatingTheCrapOuttaPillow day. Why?! BECAUSE IT'S GOOD FOR YOU. Get that pent-up emotion OUT in a healthy way; In the safety of your home on a pillow you own, verses some poor stranger in public!

Test this theory. Set aside ten mins on your CryItOutWhileBeatingTheCrapOuttaPillow day and just GO AT IT. Battle cry! Be the destroyer of emotional restriction! Do your emotional state justice! Hell, wear a cape and let out all the crazy! Then breathe and reflect on how you feel after. Make it a habit and watch your mental space be happy and healthy all the while, embracing crying!

Thanks for reading amigos, stay tuned for DAY TWENTY-EIGHT of our 29 Days of Self-Care Series!
PS- ONLY TWO DAYS LEFT!
